I feel that the third version was the best produced version of Hamlet. Of course, each individual movie had its own likes and dislikes. The music in the movie by Almereyda had better sound quality and the music fit the scene very well. It made the scene seem intense, serious and convincing for the viewer to watch it. What I didn't like was the pronunciation of the words in the last movie compared to Zeffirelli and Branagh version. There was more old English in the older films because they were viewed in the 1990's.
It was very obvious that you were able to tell where the Ghost was. There was a very distinguished thing that symbolized something in the movie directed by Almereyda. The television was always on and the picture shown on the screen was an explosion. That symbolized that the father wants him to burn off his sins. I agree with the choices that the director had made. It was more decisive and to the point. In my perspective, I would choose the third movie. It was well directed and the characters played their role very well.
