I think that Hamlet is making the right choice and is well aware that killing Claudius is a smart decision. But, on the other hand it is not smart at all to kill him while he is praying. Claudius was praying for mercy, when Hamlet does not care one bit about him. Hamlet's intensions in mind is he could rot in hell. It is too obvious that at that moment he is ready to die. It would be better when Claudius does not expect it and it is at surprise.
Of course, Claudius is guilty from killing his own brother. How does someone instantly kill his own brother like that? He is coldhearted and there is no point of him living anymore if he feels like that. In my opinion I could never live on with the rest of my life, knowing that I killed a family member. The consequences should be for Claudius to be killed and suffer as much as his brother did. I believe that Hamlet would be looked upon as a killer if he was the one who people look up to as the king.

"To Be or Not to Be"
All four versions of the movie Hamlet seemed to interest me, although the "To Be or Not to Be" speech in Branaugh's Hamlet caught my attention a little more than the two others. The setting of Branaugh's Hamlet is set to be in front of a mirror. The mirror really brought the speech out and it showed that the speech had a lot of meaning to it. He is talking out to himself, which means he sees his emotions and it shows the viewers how he is feeling while saying this speech.
The setting of Almereyda's Hamlet is shown in a movie store, "Block Buster". This movie is more modern because it is taken place in a store rather than a dark place. This version caught my attention when he was strolling through the action section of the store. The televisions in the background are viewing dangerous, violent scenes of movies. The music in the background makes the scene feel more convincing and it darkens the mood of the speech.
The setting of Oliver's Hamlet is filmed on top of rocks with a dagger in his hand. He is showing little emotions here and there, but not many. In my opinion, I did not like this version. It seems to make some viewers rather bored, than them feeling like they are understanding the meaning of this speech. In this time of day, we are used to seeing colored movies, movies that have convincing background music, and movies that give us a strong feeling about the scene.
The setting of Zeffirelli's Hamlet by far blew my mind. It was so descriptive and the role was so well played that I loved it. Mel Gibson really showed a lot of emotion and made me convinced. The scene in a dark area and the lighting was perfect. He was talking to his father by his burial, while saying this speech. There are so many versions of this play because people act out it differently. It depends on the person and how they perform. Also, it depends on the director and how they want it done. Some want them to show little emotion, others want them to really express how they feel. I loved this version and it is by far the best. It shows so much emotion and its great!

The First Ghost Scene
I feel that the third version was the best produced version of Hamlet. Of course, each individual movie had its own likes and dislikes. The music in the movie by Almereyda had better sound quality and the music fit the scene very well. It made the scene seem intense, serious and convincing for the viewer to watch it. What I didn't like was the pronunciation of the words in the last movie compared to Zeffirelli and Branagh version. There was more old English in the older films because they were viewed in the 1990's.
It was very obvious that you were able to tell where the Ghost was. There was a very distinguished thing that symbolized something in the movie directed by Almereyda. The television was always on and the picture shown on the screen was an explosion. That symbolized that the father wants him to burn off his sins. I agree with the choices that the director had made. It was more decisive and to the point. In my perspective, I would choose the third movie. It was well directed and the characters played their role very well.
