Hamlet's Dilemma

I think that Hamlet is making the right choice and is well aware that killing Claudius is a smart decision. But, on the other hand it is not smart at all to kill him while he is praying. Claudius was praying for mercy, when Hamlet does not care one bit about him. Hamlet's intensions in mind is he could rot in hell. It is too obvious that at that moment he is ready to die. It would be better when Claudius does not expect it and it is at surprise.
Of course, Claudius is guilty from killing his own brother. How does someone instantly kill his own brother like that? He is coldhearted and there is no point of him living anymore if he feels like that. In my opinion I could never live on with the rest of my life, knowing that I killed a family member. The consequences should be for Claudius to be killed and suffer as much as his brother did. I believe that Hamlet would be looked upon as a killer if he was the one who people look up to as the king.
